“I have had other dentists check my bite with the blue paper, but Dr. Yamashiro used her bite check machine that showed exactly where she needed to adjust it. That one minor adjustment Dr. Y did, calmed down all the pain. Went to zero within a couple of weeks. Before that I was seeing a TMJ specialist and spent thousands of dollars on multiple splints and it wasn’t working. Once Dr. Y adjusted my tooth, after about a month, I no longer needed my splint, except when I get lazy with my posture, I need my splint for maybe an hour and it calms everything down. The TMJ problems I was having was 8 out of 10 pain and I was having it all the time. Dr. Y changed my life, had peace again. Not living with emotional and irritability from constant pain.”
